Tentatively titled #AA23, the film marks Allu Arjun’s first collaboration with Lokesh Kanagaraj and has already triggered massive buzz across Telugu and Tamil cinema circles.

The announcement video sets the tone without revealing too much. It shows a powerful lion standing its ground while a group of foxes circle around, trying to assert control. The imagery clearly positions Allu Arjun’s character as a dominant force, hinting at a larger-than-life role rooted in strength and authority.

When the film goes on floors

The project is expected to go on floors in 2026, after Allu Arjun completes his current commitment with Atlee. The film will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers, headed by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar.

Mythri Movie Makers previously backed Allu Arjun’s blockbuster Pushpa films, making this collaboration a reunion with proven box-office success.

Music and creative team

Music for #AA23 will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander, adding another big name to the project. With Lokesh Kanagaraj’s action-driven storytelling and Anirudh’s mass soundtracks, expectations are already sky-high. Many had expected Lokesh Kanagaraj to collaborate with another Tamil star after Coolie. Instead, his decision to team up with Allu Arjun came as a surprise and was quickly welcomed by fans from both industries. Lokesh is known for directing major blockbusters like Kaithi, Master, Vikram, Leo, and Coolie, each marked by gritty action and strong character arcs.

Apart from #AA23, Allu Arjun is also gearing up for another high-profile project with Atlee, tentatively titled AA22xA6. The film marks their first collaboration and will feature Deepika Padukone as the female lead. Earlier rumours suggested a two-hero film, but the actor’s team later clarified that Allu Arjun will be seen in dual roles, adding to the anticipation. A special announcement video welcoming Deepika earlier this year further amplified the buzz.
