Fans were left impressed with BTS member Jungkook’s magic trick. The clip was reportedly shared by a member of Jungkook’s military team.

BTS’ Jungkook is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in the K-pop music industry. Known as the golden maknae (youngest member) of the septet, the singer has also made a name for himself with his solo career. Jungkook, who is currently enlisted in the South Korean military, recently went viral for performing a magic trick with a cigarette. While his face was not visible in the video, fans recognised the singer with his voice, laugh and hand tattoos.

The clip was reportedly shared by a member of Jungkook’s military team. It featured the K-pop idol expertly making a cigarette disappear in a lighthearted trick that concluded with laughs.

In order to identify Jungkook, the fans further noticed him wearing a blue apron bearing his name. The singer has been part of the cooking team in his unit ever since his enlistment in December 2023.

Fans were left impressed with Jungkook’s magic trick as they took to social media to share their amazement. One fan wrote, “Okay but he got tricks coz where did it even go.”

Another made a Harry Potter reference and said, “Graduated from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.”

A fan expressed, “I bet he’s gonna show us this trick when he comes back.”

Speaking of Jungkook, the 27-year-old K-pop idol is currently completing his mandatory military service. He enlisted in December 2023 and is scheduled to be discharged by June 2025, along with his other bandmates RM, Jimin, V and Suga.

Before he took a hiatus from his music career for military duties, Jungkook released his debut solo album, Golden, in November 2023. His songs from the album, such as 3D, Seven and Standing Next to You, became instant fan favourites.
