Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has firmly established itself as one of Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters, ensuring that Hindi cinema ended 2025 on an emphatic high. The Aditya Dhar-directed film generated significant buzz, and many big names in cinema appreciated the film. The latest to join this bandwagon are Suriya and Jyotika.

Earlier today, Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar also shared his thoughts on Dhurandhar during the success press meet of his own film, 45. As per IANS, while speaking at the event, Shivarajkumar revealed that he thoroughly enjoyed watching Dhurandhar and was struck by its emotional depth and storytelling.

“The emotions were fantastic, the making was very good, and every actor performed exceptionally well,” he said, praising the film’s overall execution. He noted that the emotional beats of the narrative landed effectively, making the film engaging from start to finish. According to him, the strength of Dhurandhar lies not just in its scale but in how powerfully its story is told.

“Akshaye Khanna’s role had a certain freedom where he could explore different shades of his character,” he observed, adding that watching him perform was a rewarding experience. Shivarajkumar reserved special praise for Ranveer Singh, highlighting the difficulty of the role he portrayed. “Ranveer Singh’s character, on the other hand, demanded a lot of subtlety, which is not easy to pull off. He handled it brilliantly and beautifully,” he said, acknowledging the restraint and control Ranveer brought to the performance.

One of the latest releases, Dhurandhar, stormed into the box office charts in 2025. With its grand scale and gripping narrative, it quickly crossed the ₹1,100 crore mark worldwide. The film currently stands tall as the second-highest-grossing Bollywood film, second only to Aamir Khan’s Dangal.
