Allu Arjun Accused Of Violating High Court’s Guidelines, Police To File Plea Against His Bail

The Hyderabad police department is likely to approach the state High Court against Telugu star Allu Arjun’s bail. As reported by the Free Press Journal, the police officials are set to file a petition in the court on Tuesday against the actor’s interim bail. Reportedly, Allu Arjun has been accused of violating the High Court’s guidelines when he held a press conference after his bail earlier this month.
Police officials also claim that Allu Arjun was asked to leave the theatre on December 4 but he refused to leave which later resulted in a stampede. A police officer has also alleged that they informed a manager of Allu Arjun about the death of the woman and stated that the situation was getting out of control. However, the actor’s team members did not convey the same to the actor. Reportedly, the police officials are now likely to present video evidence to support their claim before the court.
For the unversed, Allu Arjun landed in legal trouble after a woman died during a stampede that was caused at the Pushpa 2 premiere. The crowd went out of control after Allu Arjun stepped out of his car to greet fans attending the premiere. A woman died while her son was brutally injured. The boy has been hospitalised since.
Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13, 2024, in connection to the case. He was picked up from his residence and then sent to 14-day judicial custody. He was granted interim bail for 4 weeks on a personal bond of Rs 50,000. However, delays in paperwork resulted in him spending a night in jail.
Upon his release, Allu Arjun expressed his remorse, calling the woman’s death “very unfortunate”. In a statement, the Telugu superstar said, “I thank everyone, this incident was very unfortunate, we are extremely sorry whatever happened, we are with the family, this never happened with anyone, I am there to support the family in every way, I am thankful to everyone.”
On Sunday, protestors also landed outside Allu Arjun’s house to demand justice. They vandalised the property and damaged a portion of the house as well. Allu Arjun is yet to react to these developments.
