Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’s romantic drama Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri (TMMTMTTM) struggled to gain momentum at the box office from the outset. Released during the Christmas weekend, the film faced stiff competition from Aditya Dhar’s action-packed Dhurandhar and James Cameron’s Hollywood sci-fi epic Avatar: Fire and Ash, both of which attracted large audiences. The film has now concluded its theatrical run with a total collection of just over Rs 30 crore.

According to Sacnilk, the film earned just Rs 2 lakh on day 15, taking its final domestic collection to Rs 32.95 crore, while its global earnings stood at around Rs 49.5 crore. The film failed to generate buzz among audiences from the start. With a stronger audience reception, the film could have performed significantly better. Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’s underwhelming box office run may also be attributed to its genre, as romantic comedies have struggled to draw audiences in recent times.

With a popular cast and a festive release window, expectations were high. However, collections dropped sharply during the weekdays following its release.

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri is produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions, in collaboration with Namah Pictures, headed by Shareen Mantri Kedia and Kishor Arora, along with Apoorva Mehta and Bhumika Tewari. The film is directed by Sameer Vidwans, who previously worked on Satyaprem Ki Katha (2023)

Apart from Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday in the lead roles, the film also features Neena Gupta, Jackie Shroff and Tiku Talsania in supporting parts. It marked its theatrical debut on Christmas 2025.

The film marks Kartik Aaryan’s first collaboration with Dharma Productions and his second outing with Namah Pictures and Sameer Vidwans following Satyaprem Ki Katha. The romantic drama has an official runtime of 145 minutes and 41 seconds.

Tu Mere Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’s plot revolves around two main characters who meet on vacation and end up living together. What begins as a friendship soon turns into love before taking a fatal turn.
