Kiara Advani Makes FIRST Appearance Months After Welcoming Daughter

The actress looked comfortable and effortlessly stylish in a loose powder-blue shirt paired with denim shorts as she shot for a commercial. As she was papped, photojournalists asked her who her daughter Saraayah is doing. To this, the actress smiled and gestured she’s good.

Kiara and Sidharth became parents on 15 July 2025, welcoming their daughter at a hospital in Mumbai.  In November, the couple shared a joint post on Instagram, announcing their daughter’s name. They wrote, “From our prayers, to our arms our divine blessing, our princess, Saraayah Malhotra सरायाह मल्होत्रा,” along with a folded emoji and a red heart emoji. Along with this, they shared an adorable picture showing their hands gently holding baby Saraayah’s tiny feet, wrapped in white crocheted socks.

Since then, the couple has maintained privacy around their daughter’s early months, sharing only a few glimpses while asking fans and media to respect their space.

Sidharth Malhotra on becoming father

In a chat with Mojo Story, the loving father explained that Saraayah is a Hebrew name meaning “God’s Princess,” with Arabic origins meaning “princess” or “noble shelter.” The Param Sundari star also revealed his routine after embracing fatherhood. He said, “Waking up with her stretching. Life has definitely changed for the better ever since I became a girl dad. She’s in her best phase right now. I have never lost so many arguments to someone who can’t speak. I realised that I am no longer the hero of the house; she’s the superstar.”

He continued, “Men always talk about courage, grit and strength. But women demonstrate all those when they become mothers. I saw her go through hormonal and physical changes during pregnancy, and then become the superhero that she is today. I am contributing in the little ways I can by changing diapers, clicking photos, and keeping a happy environment.”

Back in February 2025, the couple made their pregnancy public with a soft, heartwarming Instagram post—featuring baby socks and the caption, “Our biggest blessing is on the way.” The photo instantly went viral, with congratulations pouring in from across the film industry.

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s love story started off quietly. They first met in 2018 at a film party, but it was during the shooting of Shershaah in 2021 that they grew close. Their on-screen chemistry led to rumors, but the two kept things private for a long time. In early 2023, Kiara finally confirmed the relationship with a playful birthday post for Sidharth.
