Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again sent the internet into a frenzy. The actor, who remains one of Hindi cinema’s most closely followed stars, sparked a fresh round of chatter after sharing a cryptic social media post about being “alone and lonely.” Given that Salman’s personal life has always been a subject of immense public curiosity, the note quickly drew attention from fans, followers and social media users.

On Sunday, May 17, Salman shared a shirtless picture of himself, showing off his ripped physique and chiselled abs. However, it was not just the photograph that caught everyone’s eye. His caption, reflective and slightly mysterious in tone, became the talking point almost instantly.
He wrote, “By I me myself, 2 ways to be by yr self, Alone and Lonely, Alone is by choice n lonely when nobody wants to be with u….. Ab iske aage you Figure out what you need to do.”
The post soon went viral, with fans trying to decode what Salman meant. Professionally, Salman was last seen in Sikandar. He will next be seen in Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, a film rooted in the true events of the 2020 Galwan Valley clash. The film also stars Chitrangada Singh and is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
Apart from Salman and Chitrangada, Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace features Zeyn Shaw, Ankur Bhatia and Vipin Bhardwaj, among others.
Salman also has an untitled film with Nayanthara in the pipeline. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju, the film officially went on floors in April 2026.
